We have had a beautiful spring here. Each day I get to see blooms that fade and new buds that arrive.  It changes a little each day!

No matter what time of day beauty is all around. As the day passes we get to see sights like the mountains changing color as the light hits things different.

There are many birds that we have been able to watch. How much fun to see the birds pass through in the spring and watch the birds that make this their winter home.  I was lucky to get photographs of such little wonders.

We go down to the ponds by our house and see a great variety of water birds. These are our local Mallards. We love to watch them play and swim around. It is a beautiful sound to hear them as they “chat” back and forth.

We love to watch for our Herbert. He is a blue heron that hangs out with us from time to time!

Behind our neighborhood is a bearded wheat field. There are so many different types of birds here. Of an evening the kids play and it is the most beautiful music. The kids hollering and laughing while the birds chirp and sing. What an amazing time for us all!
